Delayed Write Failed Error Message

I receive the below error message from time to time when
surfing the net. What do I need to do to correct this
problem? How do I save the file elsewhere when I'm
unaware I'm saving a file or where to find the file to
save it? Please help. Thank you.

Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Windows was unable to save all the data for the
file\Device\HarddiskVolume1\WINNT\system32
\wbem\Repository\CIM.$EC. The data has been lost. This
error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware
or network connection. Please try to save this file
elsewhere.

I'll give you a little background:
When an application writes to a file, the data doesn't necessary go to
the file at that particular time. The Cache Manager manages all write
requests, it will write the actual data at a time that the disk is not
being used. The application thinks that the data is on the drive, but it
isn't necessarily there yet. When the Cache Manager actually writes this
data, it is called a Delayed Write.

If something interferes with the write, then you will get the error that
you mentioned. The key to finding the cause lies within the DATA attached
to the error: change the view to "words" and paste the data into your reply.

Thank you John. How do I change the view to "words"?
John, my skills are poor when it comes to this aspect of
computers. Thanks for your help.

Respectfully,

It's "Jason" : )
When you open the event log error, the bottom window shows the data. Select
the option for Words instead of Bytes and highlight, copy, paste. Words
just makes it easier to interpret
