When I use explorer (6.0) recently I've noticed that the
text I type (e-mails, etc.) shows up VERY slowly...filling
in fields is very difficult (AOL IM is fine, so is word
and everything else)...???

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

First, from IE> Tools> Internet Options> Accessibility, is User Style Sheet
checked? If you don't deliberately use a style sheet, note the name of the
sheet and uncheck it. You can find and delete the sheet if you wish.

CWShredder is a specialized tool which removes CoolWebSearch variants. The
existence of a style sheet could indicate DataNotary a CWS variant.

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
