Dude with computer

my internet explorer browser has been extremely slow for a
few months now on various sites. some websites are fine
and everything runs smoothly. on sites like ebay.com, i
have extreme issues with speed. typing words into the
search box on the site goes very slowly. i type out
something to search for, and slowly the letters will
appear as i write them. also the scroll bar on various
sites is very slow when i move it up and down. is this a
java problem or some kind of driver issue? i have
downloaded all the necessary windows update patches, ive
got a few gigs left on each of my harddrives. my pc runs
completely fine with the exception of internet explorer on
select websites. this newsgroup for example i have
problems with speed. im am on a cable connection, i have
run speed tests on dslreports.com and everything looks
normal. if anybody has any suggestions, im all ears.

Dude,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
