Some https sites load slowly in IE6

Hello,

I've got an issue where some https sites load extremely slowly within
Internet Explorer 6, making the sites unuseable. When I browse the
sites using Firefox there are no issues, the pages load fine.

Can anyone help? BTW, upgrading to IE7 is not a possibility and
neither is using Firefox - sorry!

Try cross-posting to microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general if you get no
response here. You could try Safari beta, Netscape, Opera also.
