defragment

i defrag everyday now and it doesnt make much differance.. i have 46% free space but this is intermitantly got fragments in it that never move.. why does the defrag not clear these files to make it all go to the blue block at the begining
 
Maybe the page file is fragmented,xp cant defrag while its in use.You can go
to system properties,advanced,virtual memory,change button,set C: drive
to "no page file",click set 2X,close out,restart computer.Back on desktop,
run defrag,then reopen virtual memory and restore,or set to,"let windows
manage",click set 2X,close out restart computer.If set correctly,youll recieve
a pop-up to overwrite the page file,and restart to take effect.
