defragementation error

i get this error when defragmenting....

scan has been cancelled because an error occured in file
C:\system volume information\_restore{4307EE48-CFDC-45D4-
BA56-C4F2E1715412}\RP188\snapshot\repository\F5
\objects.data

if anyone can tell me what i can do with this file if i
can delete it and it will take care of the problem or if
there is another solution to go by.

If system is running good except for defrag I would turn
off system restore, all restore points will be lost when
you shut it off, defragment then turn system restore back
on and create an additional checkpoint. It sounds like the
reason it wont defragment is one of the restore files is
corrupted. To turn off right click my
computer/properties/system restore tab/turnoff system
restore.
