Can't run defrag

While trying to clean the system, I tried to run defrag.
I get an error message that says scan can't continue
because of an error in the following file: C\System
Volume Information\_restore{B6CEOD36-26EC-4684-9129-
54SB7B40A7DB}-\RP293\A0045287-TXR

I ran system search, but cannot find that file on the
system. How do I fix the error or delete the file so I
can run defrag and clean up the harddrive?

Go to run,type:cmd
At the curser type:Sfc /Scannow
When the graph starts install xp cd,exit the info page.
When the graph is thru,remove xp cd,type:CHKDSK C: /F
Agree to restart, then type:EXIT Reboot computer
Back on desktop, open cmd, type:cleanmgr Run disk cleanup
When thru type:Defrag C: When thru, type EXIT Reboot
Now try defrag in explorer when needed, run diskclean 1st.

Go to the MSDOS command prompt and issue the following command:

CHKDSK /F /R C:

Reboot your system and let CHKDSK run. Does it find/fix any errors?
Afterwards, retry running the defragmenter.
