When I try to run Defrag I get an error:
Connot continue because there is corruption in file:
C:\System Volume Information\_restore-{884A2A1c-760B-B64B}
\RP292\SNAPSHOT\Repository

At that point Defrag stops.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks for the help

Go to System Restore and reset the Restore file to 0 and reboot. Then run
defrag and go back and reset Restore. This clears the Restore file and will
delete all Restore points, which is good since the Restore file is corrupted
anyway.

From a command prompt, try CHKDSK C: /R, then reboot when asked. This may
take 10s of minutes to over an hour.

Go to
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore and
make a new restore point.

Then
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup
and use the button on More Options to delete all but this most recent
point, that should delete the corrupted files. You may still need to
run CHKDSK /F C: from a command prompt, and reply Y to two options,
so setting up a run at next boot; reboot to let it do so.
