Defrag won't work

I tried to defrag my PC after it had come back from repair shop and I got
this message:
MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\dfrg.msc
This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or
was created by a later version of MMC. and so on about access rights.

I am using XP Home edition
I have emailed the repair shop and am waiting for a reply but also wonder if
the combined knowledge here can suggest anything

I found the answer with a bit of research - using google and following up
various forum threads. Right now my pc is defragging.
This is how:
Start > control panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > The
left-hand column has Disk Defragmenter under 'Storage' - click on that and
bingo!
I think it may be in the wrong place. I shall see if I can drag it into
'System Tools' which is just above 'Storage that may be where it should be.

I have the same problem but cannot move it to its correct location. Were you
able to do so?
