Disk Defrag no longer working after XP SP2 was installed my error message
reads:

"MMC cannot open the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\dfrg.msc, this maybe because
the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or it was created by a later
version of MMC. This may also be because you do not have sufficient access
rights to the file".

To state the obvious: the above suggestions are incorrect, the file does
exist, it is an MMC console, dfrg was downloaded from XP home edition CD and
I am the administrator to this computer

Internet explore no longer working after XP SP3 was installed

I have uninstalled XP SP3 as a result and I am currently using XP SP2

I need Disk Defrag for all the obvious reasons so can you please send me any
solutions or fixes to these problems

please help

Sorry, but this newsgroup is intended for questions about Access, the
database product that's part of Office Professional.

You'd be best off reposting your question to a newsgroup related to Windows
XP.

This is a newsgroup for discussions about Microsoft Access, a relational
database product. You would do better to ask your question in an XP group.
The web interface for the newsgroups is not always clear, and may have
misdirected you here.
