Defender blocked network.

Since the install I am unable to get connected to wireless or wired network.
I constantly get 169.254 ip. no matter what I do. I reset the TCP/IP, I tried
uninstalling defender.. but the result is the same.

I dont know what settings are changed....

Any suggestions ..

Excellent--Can you help me clarify?

This should not be a side-effect of simply installing Windows Defender--but
it IS a known side-effect of removing some spyware. Can you confirm that
you did do a spyware removal operation?
