Defender and Block/Allow

Defender asked if I wanted to Block or Allow a program - I didn't know the
program so I Blocked it. Well I now know that it has to do with my internet
connection and now I can't connect to the internet. Defender won't let me
unblock - how do I fix this?

Do a system restore. Pick a restore checkpoint prior to doing the block.

If that doesn't work, the blocked item should be in the WD quarantine.
Please check under tools->Quarantined items, then you can select your
unknown items and restore.

I tried both things and the files were not under quarantine - I did the
system restore but still cannot connect to the internet. My computer says
the network is working fine but cannot access Internet Explorer or any
website.

Need clarification. After you did a system restore on 06/27/06, were you
able to connect to the Internet? If so, please explain what has happened in
the interim.
