default text

is there any way to change the default text permanently in office word 2003?
default text is set on new times roman and i want to use arial 90% of the
time so don't want to always have to change to that when opening a new
document

Create a new document
Select Format | Font
Change your Font to Arial
Click the Default button at the bottom left
OK the "are you sure" message.
Now your default font will be Arial.
