Default printer to another language?

I have a few problems with Word just now. I need to change the default
printer to English (UK) also need to know about editing marks that I have a
document with.
 
Printers don't have a language AFAIK. Your document can contain several
languages, and the printer should still be able to handle it. What are you
trying to do?
