Default.asp vs Index.htm

M

Mike Mueller

My home page is default.asp, and the host has this as first
to look for.

When I publish from the live site to a backup machine, it
renames it to index.htm

How do I fiix this issue?

What issue? When you publish, FrontPage discovers the default home page file
name on the destination server and renames the home page to that file name.

You'll need to add Default.asp to the back-up machine in IIS.
