In Word 2007, I cannot increase or decrease indents in multi level lists
using tab or shift tab. Is there a setting I need to make.

Also when I search for knowledge base or other help type questions, I select
word 2007 but get answers for other earlier applications -- this is not what
I want -- I want word 2007. Is this a problem with Microsoft or the method I
use to search.

I've had this happen to me before between versions. Going from 2000? to
2003. I don't remember how I fixed it.

There's an option that controls this behavior. Press Alt+T+A to display the
AutoCorrect options. Select the AutoFormat As You Type tab and make sure
"Set left and first indent with tabs and backspaces" is selected.
