Word 2007--Bullet point indent problems

Z

Zach Evans

I'm using Word 2007 and when using bullet points, I need to be able to hit
"TAB" to get an indented bullet (or sub-bullet) and I need to be able to hit
"SHIFT-TAB" to decrease the indent. This function used to work, but all of
the sudden it went away. I know that I can use the increase/decrease indent
buttons within the paragraph section toolbar, but the keystroke shortcut is
much more convenient.

Can someone please help me with this issue?

In Word 2007, click on Office button | Word Options | Proofing |
AutoCorrect Options | AutoFormat As You Type tab | check the "Set left-
and first-indent with tabs and backspaces" box.
