Debugger bugging me

Help!!!

I have just installed DivX Player onto my WindowsXP Prof
system/. When I open the app, I receive a Protection
Error -
"Debugger detected - please close it down and restart!
WindowsNT users: Please not that having the
WinIce/SoftIce service installed means that you are
running a debugger!"

What is WinIce/SoftIce? I do not remember starting a
debugger in WinXP. How do I turn this off?

Seems to be some old software:

WINICE SoftICE/W by Nu-Mega

See if you can track it down and uninstall it.
