This is usually due to a software problem/incompatibility. It should
not have any bad effects.

Do you know what the **** you're talking about, or do you regularly just post meandering words that have no relevance to the problem(s) at hand?

I have also suffered from this error, and have tracked down the cause. In my case it was self-inflicted. I had tried to disable the automatic update feature of the Google Toolbar Notifier in Internet Explorer by replacing Google's program with an empty .exe file.

I would suggest looking at the Google Toolbar as a potential source of this problem. Perhaps there are other ways it can become corrupted other than deliberate sabotage. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

At worst, you could uninstall / reinstall your browser, or use a different one.
