Date and time reset on every boot

HI,
I am using Windows XP on my PIII 650 computer with 810 chipset motherboard.
The date and time of my system has to be reset to currunt date an time after
every boot as it does not store the updated time. I am not sure whay is it
happening.. Please advise what can i do to resolve as it is very annoying to
update the date and time every time i boot.

Go into the BIOS and see what the clock is set to, if it doesn't keep time
you may need to replace the battery.

Change the motherboard battery. It's a small circular battery, and low
cost.
