Data Execution Prevention problem

Hi, I'm having a problem with DEP. When I start up, I get a DEP warning
telling me that Windows has had to close the Spooler SubSystem App. The error
data I have is:

Event Type: BEX
P1: spoolsv.exe
P2: 5.1.2600.2692
P3: 42aa27fc
P4: unknown
P5: 0.0.0.0
P6: 00000000
P7: 100012a0
P8: c0000005
P9: 00000008

It's getting increasingly annoying as the warning now pops up 6 times before
I can clear it. Can anyone shed any light?

I'd start by looking at your printer drivers. It sounds like you may have
outdated ones that don't play well with DEP.

I'm always surprised at "professionals" who STILL have to be asked "Have you
checked (event viewer / syslog)".

Thanks for the speedy reply. Unfortunately, I don't have any printer drivers
installed, as I have only just re-installed XP.

How very odd then. I've got to admit that I'm stumped in that case. Sorry
about that, but I'm sure someone smarter will chime in with a helpful answer
soon!

Thanks for trying. I've found a temporary remedy by turning off the printer
system in services. But it means that I cannot print.
