generic host process problem...very annoying

Can anybody help me i have the following problem every time i connect, after
betwwen 5 -30 minutes the following message appears!!

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

iv ran several different scans and removed a good amount of malware/spyware.
but still the problem persists...... what would be a good course of action

Of all the research I've done on this issue, what turns out to be what
appears to have fixed the problem is a MS security bulletin MS06-40 which
also refers to a KB article 921883.

Although this KB article and security bulletin don't really go into the
problems one might experience that this Hotfix appears to have fixed, somehow
it's related.

I posted to the latest question regarding this issue because all the other
posts go into the usual schpeel regarding adaware, virus scans, etc...

The issues I was having were network wide, once I ran the update on my
servers, the issues the users were having went away after a reboot. I would
highly recommend installing this update on your PC, however, it's probably
better to install it on your server(s) first if applicable.
