Data CD not recognize

Guys i am having problem with my DVD+CD Drive combo. When i play "music cd" it works and dvd too, but the sound for cd and dvd is not very good. by not good i mean to say quality of sound is kind of vibrating.
I am having problem with reading data cd. My driver looks good. If it was my connection problem i don't thing i would have any audio cd playing. Do you guys think DVD/CD player itself is bad? Or is there a way to fix that junk, like updating driver or bios and such.

No, there is no driver/bios update that will "fix" a failing drive ... to test it, swap it out for a known good drive.
