I have customised the wallpaper, and would like to change the login
background and also the logo on this page for an image of my choice.

Are these changes possible.

Thanks

Yes, although Microsoft for some inscrutible reason made it much more
difficult when Vista was developed.

The procedure is complex (just changing a single Registry setting was far
too convenient for Microsoft's designers to tolerate...) but there are
several places on the Internet where it's documented. Try for example the
ACM site at the University of Iowa:

http://acm.uiowa.edu/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3008

which takes you through the procedure step-by-step.

Right click your desktop and click Personalize in the menu. This dialog give
you links to all settings. When done click OK and it changes.

Exactly which link in "Personalize" do you click to change the login
background?

In addition to the good advice Mr. Morris gave you, look at the programs
and forums on www.wincustomize.com. They have free programs and methods
to do exactly what you want. My son loves doing that on XP; I'm sure the
WinCustomize folks have got something for Vista.

Which log-in? You seem to want fine detail changes that may not be available
in any windows but try the Windows Color and Appearance link and then the
Open Classic Appearance......... at the bottom.

Only a change in the overall color scheme will change the bits you want.

to change the login background, you have to download "Login Studio Vista"
search Google for it

How many login (some prefer to say logon) background screens do you know
of when you log into Vista?

How will that change the login screens?

Pull you neck in and stop trying to be so cleaver, I said I was mistaken and
asked why you did not give an answer to the original question instead of
concentrating on me.

Now that would be a good trick over the phone line but a waste of my
valuable time on you.

Then you should spend some of your "valuable time" on getting a grip on
the English language - even your *signature* is riddled with mistakes!
