"customize Outlook Today" doesn't work

I have just upgraded to XP and reinstalled Office 2000 but the "Customize
Outlook Today" button doesn't work. Is it an incompatibility with XP?

No, it actually gets broken by an Internet Explorer update ;-)

Hi Jane,

I have the same issue. It seems that if you also installed
the XP SP-2 update, Outlook Today (2000) is not
customizable, a known problem. Here is a link to the MS
KnowledgeBase that is supposed to solve the problem.

If you try it and it works, please let me know. I am a
rookie here and am loathe to touch the registry unless
absolutely necessary. I am interested in replies here,
hoping that someone will say that some other or newer
update can change the registry automatically.

Good Luck!
