I have the same issue. It seems that if you also installed
the XP SP-2 update, Outlook Today (2000) is not
customizable, a known problem. Here is a link to the MS
KnowledgeBase that is supposed to solve the problem.

If you try it and it works, please let me know. I am a
rookie here and am loathe to touch the registry unless
absolutely necessary. I am interested in replies here,
hoping that someone will say that some other or newer
update can change the registry automatically.
