Customize Outlook Today not working

hey all, i've got outlook 2000 on a windows 2000 pro pc.
its a brand new pc with a clean install of windows and
office. when i click on the "customize outlook today"
button nothing happens. i've tried reinstalling office
and it still doesn't work. i've gotten all the windows
and office updates from windows update. any
