Custom Paper Size

I work at a college where we still have some Windows 95, and 98 in our
Business Office that are used to connect to or mainframe (Unisys LX5000
running MCP)and print student schedules on 8 1/2 x 5.5 tractor fed paper (2
part). We put in a new machine with XP pro and when they print it does a
form feed which is wasting a form so they have to turn the paper back in the
printer. I tried creating a custom form but it would let me select it as a
paper size. The printer we are using is a Okidata Microline 380 printer. I
know it is the printer driver because we can send the schedule to another
dot matrix printer which runs on windows 95 and it works fine. Any one
have any suggestions? We want to get them upgraded but cannot until find a
solution to the printing. Thanks

If you are defining the size in an application, it will not work. You have
to define custom sizes in Faxes and Printers ->File->Server Properties.

MS messed this up...Instead of having the size follow the document (as in
W98), you have to define the size on each computer that uses the document.
So if you have 5 custom document sizes, you have to define 5 sizes on
however many computers that will receive the document.
