Hello Everyone,

New to GPO and cannot figure out how to create a new policy. I can get it to
apply policies that are already created and edit them but I want to create
custom policies for example disabling IE for certain users. Can any one
help!!!I would appreciate anything.

Thanks,
Dave

You can create your own policies by writing custom admin templates which
allow you to change\add most registry settings under HKLM or HKCU. However,
you may be able to use the existing Software Restrictions policy to deny
access to IE by denying iexplore.exe permission to run.

Another way to do this would be to assign a startup script using Group
Policy that used sysocmgr to uninstall IE.
