Custom Animation

When adding an effect in custom animation for the entrance I put "CREDITS" I
would like them to scroll only in the text box and not the entire slide is
that possible to have it scroll only in a text box?

Hi,

If you have a solid background you can create the effect by placing
retangular autoshapes (the same color as the background) over top of the text
to "encase" it in a box. When the text scrolls, it will disappear behind the
shapes giving the appearance of scrolling within a square on the slide.

You could do the same with an image background, but you'd have to make
a couple duplicate images which you'd then crop at the appropriate
spots in PhotoShop (or similar app). It's a little extra effort, but
can be done...

You can apply a FADE OUT exit animation - if developing and viewing with PPT
2002+. This adds some complexity to the animation, but will do what you are
looking to accomplish (so will the overlay graphic idea already mentioned).
