Ctl-alt-del brings up a separate screen

I'm accustomed to the traditional Ctl-Alt-Del bringing up Task Manager
on the current screen. Oddly, on my laptop, it goes to a different
screen with a menu for 'Task Manager' 'Shutdown' etc. Any way to
change this to standard behavior?

Hi,

It will do that if the Welcome screen logon is disabled. It can be changed
in the Users applet by clicking on "change the way users log on and log
off". Alternately, if you just hit ctrl+shift+escape instead this will
always bring you directly to task manager regardless of the logon screen in
use.

Whaddaya know. I forgot about ctl-shift-esc, probably cause I didn't
need it.

I figured out what was going on. An Atheros driver, for some unknown
reason, prevents fast user switching. For the benefit of future
Google searchers: I saved, then removed, the reg key at
HKLM->Software->Microsoft->Windows NT->Winlogon->
"GinaDLL"="athgina.dll"

(Note the key is "Windows NT", though the op system is XP)

Thanks for your help, Rick.
