Cross-reference???

I have a table in which the last column/row I have a total (integer value).
How can I then use it's value in a mathematical equation within my text in an
automated way so I don't have to always recalculate and update the text
manully?

Basically, I have a value, lets say 100 and later in my document I need to
have a value 25 (=100x0.25). How can I do this?

In Word 2003, if you insert your sum in your table using the formula
function, you can use a bookmark in the cell which contains the formula, then
cross reference that sum to your (=100x0.25) using bookmark, bookmark text
