Critical System Update will NOT install

Update Roll-up 1 KB826939 did not install. Kept showing
errors re: no window logo approval, won't install.

Everytime I go back to the windows update site at
microsoft.com, it scans my system and tells me I need the
same updates again???

Ideas?
