Creating an advance search on Internet Headers

I am in need of an advanced search to identify who an email is actually being
sent to, based on internet header information.
I have a situation where a company, including domain name and related email
addresses has changed to a new domain name. An individual's old domain email
address is now an exchange SMTP alias under their new domain email account.
I want to verify all email coming in is now addressed to the users with
their new domain email address. I want to be able to drop the old domain out
of my exchange server and relinquish the domain name. The only place I can
see who the email is truly addressed to is in the Internet Header
information. I would like to search an individuals entire email account to
verify when the last email came in addressed to their old domain account.
How could I do this? Is there a field in the Advanced search options that I
can use?
Clients running XP Pro sp2 / Outlook 2003, Server running Win2003 / Exchange

You can't, at least not directly.

You can create a rule that scans the header for particular words and have it
apply a category to the item for instance "Old Address". Then run this rule
once manually on the folder and subfolder on your choice. After that do a
search on the category to find all the items.

Robert, thanks for the reply.
It appears that action can only be taken on new email coming in and not much
can be done to query existing email.
Taking that into concideration I created a temporary Domain User with an
email account. I then moved all the 20 old domain SMTP aliases to that email
account. The objective is to verify the emails received from the old domain
have diminished to zero. I now have those emails in a central location where
I can initiate the appropiate action with both the sender and recipient.

That is also the way to go.

My method also works on the current mailbox. That's why I stated that you
had to run the rule manually one ;-)
