Problem with hyperlink in Outlook 2003 Sp3

Hello all,


I have one user in the company who added their email address in their
signature in Outlook 2003 SP3, it is shown as a hyperlink.

he sent me a few emails - in house - and I held my mouse pointer on it and i
saw an additional character - a letter "m" put in the domain name, I click on
the link as if I want to reply back and in the "To" field it has the letter
"m" in the domain name. If you look at the email address it is correct, just
when you hold the mouse pointer on it or click the hyperlink to email him you
see the additional character.

He told me "sometimes" people will say the same from contacts on the
internet when he sends mail outside, they click on his email, they attempt to
email him and it does not go thru as the domain name is incorrect with the
additional character.

Now I do not have a signature, but I created one - name, phone
number/extension, email address pressed enter and there is my link.
I sent a mail to myself also my internet accounts, hold my house pointer on
my email address link in my signature and no additional characters !!


Has anyone ever heard of an additional character being added to the
hyperlink for an email that is in the signature in Outlook 2003 ?

for an extra m in the user's source code. open the html version in his
signature folder using notepad and review it.
