Hello,
I have created a Windows XP Pro image using sysprep &
ghost. Aside from three annoying issues the image is
working well. After reading the posts in this forum
pertaining to sysprep & Windows XP, I did not find any
info regarding my issues, so I will ask and hope that one
of your contributors can point me in the right direction
on any one of them.
1 - Is there a way to configure sysprep so that the
Administrator's profile on the target machine retains the
customization from the reference machine?
2 - How do I configure sysprep so that no additional
network components are installed on the target system,
beyond the Netware Client already installed on the
refernce system?
3 - How do I persuade sysprep to change all references to
the old computer name in the registry of the target
machine? Currently when I do a search for the old
computer name using regedit, I find 20 instances of the
old name in the registry of the cloned system.
TIA for your input.
