Create a New Outlook.pst Default file in Outlook 2003

J

Jim

I re-installed Outlook 2003 hoping to delete the old Outlook.pst(I don't
want to have any of the old inbox or contacts) and start with a blank pst
file.

Any Thoughts?

Delete the pst-file and start with a new one. You can also start with a new
profile as well Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

Make sure you include hidden and system files and folders when searching for
pst-file.

By default it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

You can also locate the file by using
Rightclick the root folder (probably Outlook Today)-> Properties-> button
Advanced-> field Filename
