Create a Mail mesage, not on local PC Q

Sean

I run an application on my PC that creates an e-mail message, nothing
unusual in that you might think, except I use MS Outlook via Terminal
Server, thus my Outlook is not my PC but a server. When my application
tries to create the mail mssage, a message appears saying could not
find Outlook.pst file

How can I 'educate' my PC to know my Outlook.pst file is actually on a
different machine but still be able to send the message.

How can I do this, or can I?

Thanks

is outlook installed locally? if not, the app should use another method to
send email. File, Send email menus in other applications need to have the
mail program installed locally. You can't tell them to look for it on the
TS.

Yes I have Outlook installed on the local machine, but don't use it. I
use TS instead.

I have a similar sitution with web browsing when you click on a link
to e-mail, it will try and find Outlook.pst file on the local machine.

Is there anyway round this for me?

no, unless you can set the TS acct to be the default email acct in windows
(and afaik you can't) it won't use the TS acct.
