crashing spooler service

trying to send a print job to a server, the Spooler
Service shuts down when printing RAW data. Microsoft hot
fix is not yet available. ANYONE OUT THERE GOT ANY IDEAS.

Have you tried different printer drivers (you did'nt mentione
what make/model printer)

try changing the location of the spooler file

Creat a folder somewhere called
spooler

then
Start
Settings
Printers

<Printers folder opens>

File
Server Properties
<Print Server Properties dialogue opens>

Advanced
where it says spool folder put in the path to your newly created
folder.
