Print Spooler on Win 2000 Pro

I have recently had problems my print spooler. I was in the process of
changing printers when I got the error message that my print spooler wasn't
on. When I go to Services to turn the spooler back on I get this message:
Error 1075: The Dependancy service does not exist or has been marked for
deletion.

I have checked and the files that depend on the spooler service are in there
normal place how can I fix this?

Run regedt32.exe, navigate to;
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Spooler
and looking at the Reg_Multi_Sz 'DependOnService' what is listed?

You need to reinstall the lexmark printer. There is a lexmark service that
makes the print spooler service dependent on it.
