Print Spooler Error

The message I keep getting is "Windows could not start the Print Spooler
Service on Local computer". Error 1075, The dependency service does not
exist or has been marked for deletion. The print spooler is set for
automatic, when I try to start it that is the message I get, help anyone!
Again this is for Vista, not XP.

which Lexmark or Dell print driver did you recently remove?

Download and execute the Lexmark or Dell uninstall program specific to the
device you removed.

if that does not work head to microsoft.com and search for the knowledge
base articles on removing the dependencies manually.
