My computer auto matically shuts down and goes to restrt,
sign-in. I have not added anything or made any changes,
just started to do this 2 days ago. What can I do to
correct this problem? I am running Microsoft 2000
Professional.
Help!!! I am a newbie..

Are you receiving a message before it shuts down with a 60 second countdown?
If so then you've been infected with a virus.

Are you running an up to date Anti Virus program?
Are you running a firewall?
