I have another problem, i have a 2700 amd xp cpu and a asus a7v600-x mother board. In the bios it will only let me select the 1300 cpu speed if i try the other higher speeds it will not boot up. I would be grateful of any advice. Cheers
as far as i know you can specify the exact cpu clock spd. not sure exactly what your referring to when you say 1300 cpu spd, try adjusting the front side bus (FSB), for reference this chip's clock spd should be 2167Mhz.
