I've just built my first PC, and for the first time, I am able to
monitor CPU temperature. It seems to be between 38 and 42 degrees c. My
question is, what is normal for a CPU? At what temp should I be
concerned that it's too high? It's a P4 3.0C

That's fine. When it starts breaking 60C then a little concern is in order.
