CPU load management

I've had the same thing. MS AntiSpy was crashing my
fingerprint scanner and bogging the browser somthing
fierce. Turned it off and all is responsive again. I have
an Athlon 2500+ and 768 Ram. Liked it while I used it
though.
 
Well, it is still beta 1 and there certainly is still room improvement. If
it is indeed decreasing the performance of your machine and hampering your
productivity, it is best you uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware and wait until
a more stable build or beta 2 arrives.
