CPU IS AT 100%

I have been having a problem for over a week now...when I am on the internet,
with IE or Firefox, it is so extremely slow. This causes the whole computer
to drag and I figured out that my CPU is at 100% and either IE or FF is tking
up all the CPU. I have to end the process and reboot; please what can I do
so this stops happening?? Thanks!!

If you had a microsoft tech on the phone you'd be diagnosing the problem(s)
with Msconfig. To read how to troubleshoot it,read kb310560

Download Process Explorer.

For further information about Process Explorer see here:
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml

What is the Description, Path and Command Line of the Process using
the CPU?

What are your anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall arrangements?

Hope this helps.
