Could somebody please explain to me what the following error in event viewer means? Event ID 7000, T

My computer has been freezing a lot lately. At first I thought it my
cordless
Logitech mouse that I just got, so I uninstalled the drivers and
restarted the computer. The problem persists; probably not the mouse
drivers after all.

So I tried to track it down by using the event viewer.

In the even viewer, under system, I noticed a reoccurring error listed
every time my computer froze. I thought to myself that this has to be
the culprit... the only problem is that I have absolutely no idea what
the description means.

The information is as follows:

Date: 1/19/2007 Source: Service Control Manager
Time: 10:41:36 PM Category: None
Type: Error Event ID: 7000
User: N/A
Computer: blah,blah,blah

Description:

The Active Common Service service failed to start due to the following
error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

The problem is I don't know what "The Active Common Service service"
(yes, it really does say "service" twice) is. Can anybody out there
shine some light on this problem?

Seems to be associated with malware. See this Google search.

Thanks for the help. I tried googling it without the quotes and wasn't
nearly as successful as you were. The quotes made all the difference.
So far, everything seems alright. Thanks for you help.
