When I close Outlook 2000 after having opened a Note for edit or
read-only, I get the following error messages:
"Could not complete the operation. One or more
parameter values are not valid."
-Followed By-
"The note will close and your changes will not be
saved."
When I researched this message, Microsoft has a KB note (KB842942)
regarding Outlook 2003 and a Live Meeting Add-in. The only thing
similar is that I recently ran NetMeeting for the first time on this PC
- after all of my Palm stuff has been installed - so maybe the one-time
configuration altered something in Outlook 2000.
Before I embark on unistalling and re-installing the synch'ing software,
does anyone have a "shortcut" (like: just re-install Palm synch'ing
software overtop the current installation) that will work?
BTW, once a note is opened (as stated above), it leads to something else
causing my other posted issue: "OUTLOOK.exe has generated errors and
will be closed by Windows". The "detect and repair" solution was
perfect 'til this morning when I had opened and closed a note item and
did NOT close Outlook thereafter.
Win 2000 Pro - SP4
Outlook 2000 - SP3
Palm Hot Sync 4.1.0
Thanks!
