could not complete the operation error

I have changed the account name of the first user account
I created (it has Administrator rights) on this XP
machine. However, I have found that the account name
listed under Documents and Settings has retained the name
of the original user account. I need to change this
folder name to match the new account name because this
hard drive is going to be cloned to 16 other hard drives.

I've attempted to delete the original user account from
the User Accounts area of the Control Panel, but am
getting the following error message.

"could not complete the operation due to error 80070402"

I wonder if anyone knows what might be causing this?

XP will not change the user name under documents&settings....you need to copy
the old user to the new user.
In order to do this you need to create user B as a new user(lets say the
original is user A)
Then log on as user C....making sure that user C is an administrator
right click "my computer"
properties.........advanced...............user profiles....settings
highlight user A and click "copy to"
click "browse" and find user B under "documents&settings"......click OK
ok your way out.
reboot and sign in as user B...........check to make sure it copied correctly
before you delete user A under control panel/user accounts.
there you go..........clone away
