corrupted files when i download with internet explorer 6.1

For the last two weeks every file that i try to download
is corrupted.
The % of download stays at 99% for 35 sec to 2 min and
when I try to open the file is corrupted.
Have onyone had that problem and how I can fix it.

Remove all files from your Temp folders and clean your Temporary Internet
Files (folders)
