Copying MP3 disk

Hi.

I am running Windowns XP Home. I can copy a CD to file
and to another CD, but I have one MP3 disk that will
play, but I can't copy it either to another CD or to
files.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I need special software-
-and what it is the name.
